The RTOG CCOP Program periodically solicits projects for applications centered on pilot studies leading to Phase II or Phase III symptom management intervention trials.
 
The RTOG CCOP focuses on mitigating RT-associated normal tissue toxicity, treating therapy related side-effects and improving quality of life. High priority areas for the RTOG CCOP are:
·         Mucosal Protectants and Epithelial Injury;
·         Neurocognition;
·         Palliation and Quality of Life;
·         Late Effects and Survivorship.
