RAVE is a web-based remote data capture entry system. The only requirement to access RAVE is a web browser and internet connection. Paper forms (case report forms) are not used for studies using RAVE so no case report forms will be mailed or faxed to RTOG HQ and blank forms are not posted to our web site. The only forms that posted to the RTOG web site are the Patient History Form (formerly known as the A5 form) and Quality of Life forms since these should be completed by the patient first and then entered into RAVE by site staff. The site research personnel will enter data directly into RAVE and RTOG HQ personnel will review the data via the RAVE system.
If this is the first study that you are participating in via the RAVE system, please read the documents below very carefully as they give information on obtaining a Medidata account. If you have already set up an account with Medidata you will NOT need to set up a new one for RTOG or for future RTOG studies.
If you have questions about RAVE the CTSU help desk is available from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM EST. In addition to their current services, they will also provide support for RAVE Navigation, RAVE Functionality, iMedidata navigation, eLearning assistance and account access. The contact information for this help desk is:
If you have specific protocol questions and RTOG protocol, please contact RTOG HQ during normal business hours and ask to speak with the Research Associate assigned to the study.
